WHAT IS DEXTER'S LAB?

Veggie Tales helps show children at an early age the difference between right and wrong. It is a fun and amusing show where you can watch a cartoon with vegetables that talk and sing. Talk about a fun way to catch a little kid's attention. The show appeals to a pre-school audience, but older kids will like it as well.

Religious undertones are apparent in the series. Such episodes as "God Wants Me to Forgive Them" and "Dave and the Giant Pickle" entertain while also informing children of the importance of God.Veggie Tales is produced by Big Idea Productions, which was founded by Phil Vischer, his wife Lisa and Mike Nawrocki in July 1993.

Dexter's Laboratory was created by Genndy Tartakovsky as a student film during his second year at California Institute of Arts in 1991. Four years later, Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network was starting its "What A Cartoon" Show. It was set to air a collective of animated shorts by some unknown artists. The first Dexter short was titled "Changes" and aired on the What A Cartoon Show in April of 1996. Dexter's Laboratory ended up being the network's first original series and the rest is history.
