A frogs enemy will eat them. Fish, racoons, turtles, snakes and even people like the taste of frogs. So these critters really have to watch their step. Different frogs have different ways to protect themselves. Some have poison skin. Some are brightly colored to protect themselves. Completely red or yellow frogs are poisonous and don't want you to touch them.

The American Native Indians used frog poison for their arrows. But most types of frogs use their color as camouflage to help hide from their enemies. The Tree-frog does this pretty well. Frogs also have buldging eyes. This is to enable them to have a panoramic view and avoid the enemy. Frogs seem to be ready for war, don't they?
