The
pictures below or of real mermaids that have been
found at sea. They are often happy to meet people,
but if you keep them from the water for too long they
will use their magic to help them return to the water.
And if you do capture a mermaid they will turn into
a human and no longer be a mermaid, so you can't have
one as a pet.
